Dear Co-laborers and friends,

As you all know the Lord has blessed us in the purchase of a piece of land for our church to build on. I am writing you with some of our specific needs that we trust you will make a matter of prayer. Below you will find a picture of the new piece of land we purchased. It is ¼ acre in a growing part of the city.

Our church rents 2 buildings to accommodate our ministries.  We have no more room in which to grow.

We are asking our supporting churches to make this a matter of prayer and as the Lord leads to help us in this wonderful opportunity and participate in this work. Perhaps your church can supply one of the line items listed in part or in whole. Any monies designated to this request should be sent to our sending church Open Door Baptist Church, marked "CONSTRUCTION IN CHETUMAL".

We estimate the cost of construction at $30,000.

Our specific needs are in the areas of materials for the construction:

A pallet of cement costs $400 - it has 40 bags of cement. Our need is some 30 pallets of cement.

Blocks are $100 per pallet - it contains 200 blocks and we need close to 30

Concrete cross beams $250 a piece - we need 25 of these at this point in the design

Re-bar is around $20 a "tira" - we will need several hundred of varying sizes from ¼ to ¾ for the roof

Gravel is around $120 a truck load - we need at least 20 truck loads

Sand is the same price at $120 a truck load - we will need an equal amount of sand, 20 truck loads.

Foundation boulders - we will need some 10 truck loads for our sub foundation at $150 a truck load.
